| Neutrons being a heavy particle can deal massive damage when moving at high speeds. That's exactly what this weapon does. It takes neutron particles and accelerates them at a target at near light speed velocity. These particles collide with the target imparting their force and shearing through large molecules. A Neutron Cannon under the right circumstances can penetrate virtually anything. Energy shields slow down the neutrons allowing armor to fair better than it normally would. |
