| An Ion Particle gun uses an ion field flooded with subatomic particles deal its damage. the Ions bond with energy of a shield and help dissipate the field while the particles deliver their velocity damage directly to the surface of the target. After an Ion blast deals damage to an energy shield there is a 15% chance the shields will collapse for the next turn this effect is cumulative up to 60%.
