| Energy mines along with fusion missiles are used by most races. Energy Mines are essentially an accelerated chemical reaction designed to release massive amounts of energy. The chemicals are fitted into a casing in two parts that are catalyzed when an object enters into proximity to the casing. Once the reaction is triggered the case goes off like a grenade releasing energy at an enormous rate and violently damaging everything around it. Each race has its own designs but for practical purposes they all do the same things.
