| A Battle-Laser Cannon is a weapon distantly related to a standard laser. Its focal length is elongated making its firing range shorter but the idea is the same. Strong bursts of light are focused through a series of crystals before entering a firing lens which actually targets an enemy. While Battle-Lasers can be effective they require a direct target lock to make a solid hit. Without proper targeting data the odds of hitting a target no mater how big are dropped by 30%.
