Special Information:

Story Data: The Y-Wing is an Old Republic fighter possibly dating back as far as the Clone Wars. As is typical most Republic fighters it is hyperdrive capable, equipped with shields, internal life support, and ejection system. Y Wings have also held integral roles in both battles that destroyed death stars.

As with most fighters and ships of such small size and high maneuverability in the Star Wars universe this ship is reliant on an Astromech droid for hyperspace calculations. A common and most preferred choice is the R2 unit.
