Story Data: The TIE/rc is a specialization of the standardized TIE fighter for Reconnaissance purposes, this TIE fighter can scout ahead of fleets, and also enable full sensor scanns of high traffic or debried areas. It comes with specially enhanced sensor modules which enable it to take more accurate sensor scans then the traditional fighter.
