Story Data: Designed to protect convoys and escoort larger warships the Nebulon B also found use as a long range scout. Many Imperial Commanders dislike this vessel due to its slow sublight speed. Other Imperial Commanders, and many Rebel ones however found it a very effective ship with highly efficient sensors and communications able to co-ordinate intricate strategies easily. Unfortunately these ships were easily stolen, captured, or defected in the early days of the Rebel Alliance having made it a staple of the Rebel Alliance Fleet until the Mon Calamari joined them. As such many were modified, some into medical frigates with the capacity for 700 Patients.
