Story Data: When the Mon Cal were oppressed their gorgeous fleet of Starliners wer refitted for a covert war of hit and run tactics. Courtesy Admiral Ackbar the Mon Cal brought their refitted fleet to the Rebel Alliance where the modification of these cruiser increased. Meanwhile the Rebel Alliance gained what would be the bulk of their fleet ships. The command crews of these ships were retained as Mon Calamari due to many of the screens and the inmovement chairs being orientated towards the vision spectrum of the Mon Calamari eye. The differences between the MC-80 and MC-80A are few and often hard to observe accept by the most experienced Imperial sensor technicians and commanders.
