Story Data: Pre-dating the larger, more reknown MC-80 Cruisers, the MC-40A was very common in the luxury liner fleet. This was a more uniform design and therefore easier to refit by Rebel Alliance technicians. Starting service just before the battle of Hoth these ships proved ultimately under gunned for its size, and easily preyed upon by the larger Victory Class Star Destroyers.
