Story Data: Designed and initiated into service after the loss fo the first Death Star the Lancer Class Frigate was designed specifically to counter Rebel Starfighter attacks. Though it didn't see as much use as was anticipated, it did prove itself more thwen capable for its task in the first few encounters.
